The most sophisticated lawnmower robot in the world.
With the new LawnBott LB3500, KA Home Robotics has, once again, raised the bar in robotic lawn care. Larger yards tend to have more complicated shapes, the LB3500 accommodates this by being able to program up to 4 different working zones, to maximize its cutting efficiency. Even smaller yards that may have narrow passageways from one area to the next, can take advantage of this feature.
Safety and Security are further enhanced with the LB3500 through a higher sensitivity, free-floating, 360° bumper shell, rear-handle proximity sensor that stops the blade when touched, and an on-board alarm system should an unauthorized user pick up the LawnBott.
Utilizing a double capacity Li-ion battery to propel more powerful motors, the LB3500 can handle slopes up to 27°. It can also maintain a larger yard area, up to 40,000 sq. ft. That's well over a 1 ½ acre home's typical yard size.
No matter what your yard shape, size, or slope, the LawnBott has you covered!

A Closer Look at the LawnBott 3500
The LawnBott LB 3500 and LB 3550 Robotic Lawn Mower is the most advanced robotic lawn mower available today. With the included double lithium battery, the LB3500 can mow over 1acre yards - fully autonomously. It can mow up to 2 acres when upgraded with 2 additional batteries. Multiple units can be used to mow lawns even larger. The LawnBott LB3550 robotic lawn mower has 2 additional lithium batteries for expanded mowing times can mow lawns up to 2 acres in size. LawnBott lithium batteries are lightweight and do not have a memory but contain smart chips to ensure a longer life span, and are expected to last 4-5 years before needing to be replaced.
The LawnBott 3500 robotic lawn mower has some great new features for 2009 which include an on board compass, new wheel design, improved motors, improvements to the programming, hardware and much more. One of the biggest fears about robotic lawnmowers is safety. It's easy to mistakenly correlate the obvious dangers of a push lawnmower or a riding lawnmower to a robotic lawnmower. The fact is robotic lawnmowers are many times safer than its manual counterparts just because you eliminate the human needing to be around it while it's operating. However, all LawnBott robotic lawn mowers have built in safety features that shut down the blade motor when it's picked up.
The LawnBott LB3500 robotic lawn mower is LawnBott's top of the line robot lawn mower and is the most sophisticated household lawnmower on the market.
Advanced Features:
Each LawnBott comes complete with a charging house where the LawnBott spends its time off. An adjustable rain sensor will even send it home in the event of a storm. Use of this feature is optional since the mower is totally weatherproof. Higher end models offer a smart spiral feature where the mower will automatically switch to a spiral pattern when it senses high grass. An exclusive feature of the Evolution is the ability to learn the growth rate of your lawn. It will adjust itself to reduce the operating time when less mowing is required.
In the event that the manufacturer issues a software upgrade, there is no need to send the unit to us for service. Any upgrades can be downloaded from the internet.
Easy Setup:
Getting your LawnBott set up on your lawn usually only takes a few hours. It is an easy process and a full instruction guide is provided. Simply place the house in a location convenient to an electrical outlet, stake down your wire, set the mowing times and you are ready to go.
Small but Powerful:
Models range in weight from 24 to 40 pounds and the mower has a 12 inch cut. Don't let the compact size of the LawnBott mislead you into thinking that it is a toy. It was engineered this way to be able to efficiently mow tight areas and to prevent soil compaction. It can handle up to 33,000 square feet of grass which is about 3/4 of an acre. If you have a multi-tiered garden, its light weight and convenient handle allows you to easily carry or lift it to different areas. Depending on the model, LawnBott can handle grades of nearly 30 degrees and a spiked wheel kit is also available for increased traction. The mower will handle all types of grass and the cut height can adjust from 3/4 to 3 inches.
Intelligent Design:
The entire line of Lawnbotts were engineered with strict attention to function and quality. Features are designed to be both powerful and, more importantly, user friendly.
Did You Know?
A conventional lawn mower pollutes as much in an hour as 40 late model cars (as much air pollution as driving a car for 100 miles)?
Electrical, battery, and hand powered lawnmowers and garden tools emit zero pollution!
What Are People Saying?
Here we go with the LawnBott. I was really excited. Everything was packaged into one box that I could carry myself. After a read of the manual it was easy for us to choose the charging base location. Close to the house and right beside a power outlet. I plugged the power supply in and (after unpacking) placed the lawnbott back in its home to charge while I installed the perimeter wire. Using the provided ruler I proceeded to use the pegs and lay wire appropriately around the perimeter. I decided to go around the small shed in back because we always pile our "junk" from the yard behind this shed out of site. So after this area was excluded I proceeded around the perimeter back to the charging base not going around any trees in the yard.
We started the LawnBott up, ran its sync, and then started the blade and proceeded to cut the lawn. It did a smart spiral and then turned and headed to the back of the lawn. It hit the perimeter wire turned and then bounced off one of the trees. The Lb3200 was doing a great job. Right after I said this it hit the perimeter wire in an area between the pegs that wasn't quite low enough to the ground. After it cut the wire and I repaired it J I went around the yard using another 100 or so pegs after I already thought it was pegged to the ground good enough. Since I have done this I have not had any problems with the LawnBott cutting the perimeter wire.
The LawnBott is so quite. It is hard to even hear it running when you are not right beside it. What an excellent job it does also. Quote from an actual customer "My lawn looks and feels healthier after only 3 weeks of using the LawnBott. I walk around barefoot in the grass now and I never did that before" Not only that but now they have more time to spend on their garden and playing with their 2 small dogs. These 2 small dogs I might add were very upset with the LawnBott for about 3 minutes. Then they followed it around the yard for about 10 more minutes. Now they ignore the LawnBott and just move out of its way when they are on the lawn together.
After using the LawnBott for a couple of days it did get stuck for seemingly no reason in the yard. After closer inspection we noticed how bumpy the back yard really was and installed a set of spiked wheels. The LawnBott hasn't stopped (except to charge and sleep) since.
The front yard is scheduled for some landscaping in early June so after this is complete we will setup the LawnBott to do the front yard also. Check the video of everything so far and check back soon for the front yard installation review. - Geo Hernandez
